Positions for PhD Fellows are now available!
We seek energetic post-graduate researchers to undertake positions as Early Stage Researcher (PhD student) as part of TS-EUROTRAIN, a Marie Curie Initial Training Network. TS-EUROTRAIN is a multidisciplinary and intersectorial network focused on the study of Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome (TS) and related neurodevelopmental disorders. TS is an inherited neuropsychiatric disorder that is marked by multiple motor and vocal tics and high comorbidity rates with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. TS-EUROTRAIN encompasses 12 complementary PhD projects aiming to disentangle the relative contribution of environment and genetics in TS etiology, elucidate the neurobiological underpinnings of TS and related disorders, investigate the mechanism of effect of existing drugs for TS, while at the same time seeking to identify novel druggable targets. Ten partners from academia and industry as well as eight associated partners will provide a multi-national and interdisciplinary training infrastructure, designed to equip participating students with the necessary knowledge and sets of tools to pursue successful careers.
Position reference: TS-EUROTRAIN-ESR3, Supervisor: P. Paschou - opening announcement (expected start date, November 1, 2013)
